The Association's Founding Charter ---------------------------------- To whom it may concern, including but not limited to current and future members, affiliates, partners, and stakeholders of The Association: This document, effective the 24th day of August, 2023, serves to formally establish and recognize the entity herein referred to as "The Association." 1. Preamble: The Association is founded upon the principle of leveraging blockchain technology to foster a decentralized community, emphasizing transparency, collaboration, and the commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity. 2. Status and Operation: As of the date aforementioned, The Association is officially operational, adhering to the protocols, policies, and guidelines as outlined in this Charter and subsequent official documents. 3. Guiding Principles: Genesis Commitment: All individuals who affiliate themselves with The Association shall be treated as a new genesis block, thereby ensuring each member's inherent right to a fresh start within the community. Temporal Integrity: The Association commits to using the Bitcoin blockchain's timestamp as the primary reference for time-based actions, decisions, and events, signifying our adherence to unalterable truth. 4. Governance: Governance within The Association shall be vested in a body known as the Core Council, consisting of 11 members. Thayne, the undersigned, shall assume the role of the primary guide until the Council is fully operational, after which the governance mechanism, as outlined in official policy documents, shall prevail. 5. Future Undertakings: The Association shall continually assess its strategies, adapt to the evolving blockchain landscape, and strive to uphold the principles and values it stands for.
